Here you can see the re-routing of the fuel lines in front of the bell housing and not attached to the firewall. Now the car will pass tech without any more issues.
Just another pic of the new vac pump set-up and the new belt routing.
Here it is all assembled and ready to be fired up!
Thanks to Patrick at Pro-Systems for a fast modification and delivery as promised!
A very close up shot of the crank trigger.
The vacuum gauge fit well in its new home where the vents used to be. This is not only useful for knowing how much vacuum the pump is pulling, but also as somewhat of an engine health monitor. Notice the plugged opening next to the vacuum gauge..I think a Nitrous gauge will look great there in the future ;)
There it sits waiting for this Michigan weather to make up its mind. And as you can see there are still no side moldings on the car and at this point we have given up on trying to get the painted. Besides, they'll only add more weight to it!
Also, Check out the new Mickey Thompson 275-60-15 ET Street Radials! They are mounted on 15x10" wheels with 6.5" back-spacing.
