After 3 years the 1993 coupe project is complete!
Here are some pics taken the day following the final assembly of the body. The car was appraised yesterday (6/22/05) and recieved not one deduction.
I'm sure everyone can see the hood is not closed, so no, its not crooked.
This the 5th pass ever made in the car, added the 4.88 gears, but only launching at 5000 rpm! 1.52 (was 1.7, launching at 6200) 60ft and still bogging a bit. Tire pressure after the pass was checking at 12.5 lbs....
This was the 6th pass ever made, Lowered tire pressure to 10 lbs, still bogging a bit launching at 5800 rpm. Hooking great, just need to get past the bogging. Went 123 mph on this pass having to short shift at 6900 rpm in every gear. 10's and the 130 mph are getting closer.
