Turbo Setup from Work Turbochargers

Work Turbochargers of Pelham, AL is handling the task of designing and developing the turbo setup for the car.  Reed and Matt definately know there way around a turbo and the support is second to none.  They have spec'd out an 88mm turbo and a large air-to-air intercooler for the task.  This is going to set up as a race car that will be street driven, but even though an air-to-water would be more desireble to some for this application, the air-to-air was choosen for simplicity.  Also, once an air-to-water setup becomes heat-soaked the only way to lower the inlet temps is to drain and refil the system, whereas an air-to-air may give up some repeated back to back consistancy, yet cool down on its own without the added labor of changing water just for street use.
